At NVSS parents and carers are invited to be volunteers and join the Norfolk Angels. It will help to keep you up-to-date with what is happening at NVSS, and help build positive relationships between you and the school community.
Volunteers are always welcome to help with:
- classroom activities including reading support
- The Village Vault
- tuckshop
- second-hand uniform sorting and distribution
- excursions
- sport—coaching, umpiring or helping out at carnivals
- NVSS P&C Association
- and other school events.
Norfolk Angels are involved in activities EVERY day at NVSS, however if you would like to also meet up with other parents and carers Norfolk Angels Meet Every Thursday from 9am to 11am in the Discovery Centre
NVSS Norfolk Angels meet every Thursday from 9am to 11am in the Library and branch out to volunteering roles across the school during this time. If you are unable to volunteer during this time, please let Alana know and we can connect you accordingly with an activity suitable for the day(s) and/or time(s) you have available.
The Village Vault - Volunteering Opportunity
Most afternoons from 2pm to 2:40pm, The Village Vault is open to classes on a timetabled basis. Our valued Norfolk Angels volunteer their time to provide this service for the children to redeem their Village Voucher points for prizes from The Village Vault. Please contact Alana if you would like to help in The Vault.
